Good Idea: Deciding to do a bunch of cool horror themed sketches for the whole month of October.

Bad Idea: Realizing most of the things you want to draw require reference that you don't have access to at work where you do most of these and eventually run out of horror stuff that keeps you interested and really stretch what some might consider to be horror themed stuff and end up drawing this guy...

See, I get to a point where I'm not using the reference as reference, but it's just me copying an image and that's no fun at all. It feels more like work and I hate working. What did I add to this image that wasn't there in the original photograph? Nothing. Maybe some wiggly lines, but that's it. This wasn't any fun and is probably the end of me using photo reference for any more of these sketches. I really think it shows in the linework how uninterested I was while doing this, too. Ugh. Sorry, folks.
